Monday morning

One Monday morning my boss came to me and said: “We’re going to be at the Ambiente (a trade fair) in Frankfurt in January 2024”. Great! But now what?
One, l don’t have a business outfit yet. And two, I can’t see myself ironing my blouse in the hotel room every morning.
I quickly discovered that finding a suit was going to be harder than ordering the Shirtmeister that was already delivered to my home the next day

Young professional

As a young professional, I have to confess that I hardly ever iron my suits and blouses. It takes a lot of time and, in my view, also takes too much effort.
I dread doing the ironing (every Sunday) and so I tend to postpone it to the next week. But at the same time, I still think it’s important to look presentable and well-groomed.
Both in my personal and professional life. The Shirtmeister offers the perfect solution; it saves me time and saves a lot of effort.
Now that I’ve finally found the right outfit, I’ll pack my Shirtmeister and head off to the Ambiente!

Good preparation

The evening before leaving for Frankfurt, I’d washed my blouse in the washing machine on express mode and then dried and ironed them, still damp, on the Shirtmeister.
This way I could pack my suitcase in the meantime and watch the start of the next SUITS episode.
Now I was able to dry all three of my blouses one by one and pack them neatly folded in the suitcase, with virtually no creases.

And then the big day arrived

D-Day: Friday 26 January was the day, the first day of the trade fair had arrived. I got up, took a shower and then I grabbed my shirt and the Shirtmeister from the hotel closet.
Oh, let’s see. There’s no socket close to the wardrobe. After briefly inspecting the room, I found an outlet in the bathroom where I could easily hang my Shirtmeister on the door handle.
So I hung my shirt on the Shirtmeister, quickly sprayed the spots I thought could look just a little smoother, and then pressed the 10-minute programme.
I made a nice cup of coffee to wake up and read the latest news updates on my phone at my leisure, with plenty of time left before I was expected downstairs.

15 minutes later

15 minutes later, I walked back to the bathroom to put on my blouse and closed the hotel room door behind me on my way out.
Ready to go and ready to rock and roll!
Once at the fair, I stood at the stand feeling confident and geared up to represent my company and speak with potential customers.

My conclusion: I’m going on a trip and taking? My Shirtmeister

To sum up, the Shirtmeister is easy to take with you wherever you go and is handy for both pre-travel preparations and well as during your business trip.
Although it can still be a bit of a challenge to find an outlet close to where you can hang your outfit in a hotel room,
the Shirtmeister’s hook makes it a lot easier to hang it on a door handle, door frame or wardrobe hook near a power socket.
But I do have more spare time that I can use as I please, and I don’t have to struggle to grab an ironing board and iron,
fold out the ironing board, wait for the iron to heat up, only to finally do another work-out for my right arm.

Now I can wave hello to my newest travel friend.
